MARGARITA DUBEAU

Multidisciplinary Dominican born in 1997, recognized for her incredible creative gifts and diligent artistic practices. Dedicated to art since she was little, she specializes in illustration, graphic design, costume design and costume making. Her works are noted for intense colors, visual appeal, and diverse concepts encompassed in ingenious ways.

After graduating as a bachelor at Loyola School in 2015, she went on to study Graphic Design at UNAPEC for 3 years. Then she transferred to Chavón School Of Design, graduating in 2021 in Visual Communication and Illustration.

It is worth highlighting the teachers who guided her during her educational career, such as Wendy Queliz (coordinator, director and theater pedagogue) and Alcibíades Novas (teacher and fine artist) at the Loyola School. Further ahead is Francisco Sánchez (Guanabacoa) who motivates her to raise hers academic level, thus transferring to Chavón in 2019. Finally, she is trained in the areas of visual communication, illustration, design and fashion by Chavón artists such as Elías Roedan, Jonathan Schmidt, Julián Amado, Eliana Pérez, Isabel Benedetti, Katia Ríos, Luis Hidalgo, among others.

Margarita has been a participant in countless sports and cultural activities, and including herself within a generation of entrepreneurship and technology. Winner of several awards in the world of Dominican Cosplay since 2013, she currently works as a freelancer in Fort Worth, Texas, US.
